Donna Clement's Visual Art

Welcome,
I am a fine artist and a commercial artist who creates art in many mediums including: oils, watercolor, colored pencil, graphite, pen & ink, photography,  silk painting, illustration, and murals.

In my fine art I am concentrating on oil painting. My abstract painting has been evolving while I find new ways to paint color and light. Some of these paintings are very textured and created with palette knives and other tools. Other paintings are very smooth and blended. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to experience and express the excitement that color and light can make me feel.

​ I am a sci-fi nerd, so you may see some of those themes reflected in my illustration work.

Education:
BFA  from the School of Visual Arts / New York NY
MA in visual arts with a specialization in art education from University of Northern Colorado. Thesis: Teaching Adult Students Who Are Apprehensive About  Making Art
